Is Mealime shutting down?
Yes. Mealime was discontinued on October 21, 2026. Its recipes moved to Meals Hub inside Albertsons Companies grocery apps, and Mealime said personal data would be deleted when the app closed.
What replaced Mealime?
Mealime’s official successor is Meals Hub, a free feature inside Albertsons Companies grocery apps and websites that you can use even if you don’t shop there. If you want a standalone planner built for sharing with a household, Baggy is an alternative.
Can I transfer my Mealime recipes and meal plans to Baggy?
No. Baggy doesn’t import Mealime accounts, recipes or meal plans. You can add your regular meals to Baggy’s shared meal calendar in a few minutes.
What is the best free app like Mealime?
Baggy’s shared grocery list is free for your whole household. Meal planning, the pantry, store prices, and scanning are part of Baggy Household. Former Mealime users can unlock all of it once for $19.99 with the founding offer (first 100 people, until January 1, 2027).
Is there a meal planning app the whole family can use together?
Yes. In Baggy, everyone in your house joins with an invite code and sees the same meal calendar and grocery list. Parents can give teens their own trip budget.
Does Baggy work with my grocery store?
Your list works with any store. At Kroger-family stores, Baggy can also show live prices, product photos, and aisle locations from Kroger’s official data.
Is Baggy available on Android?
Not yet. Baggy is for iPhone and iPad.
